Graphic design class was the best today! This was actually what I got to do for an hour and a half while I waited to print and it was a graded assignment too! That I’m happy to say was the only 100% my teacher gave out today. (He’s extremely strict) And he only saw the character not the background work I’m going to be doing to it as a whole.
Anyways, I’m thinking about making her a real OC now that she’s been drawn. Who else thinks that? Also isn’t this so cool? I love illustrator, its possible the best program I’ve worked with when it comes to designing these sort of things. Right?

Time:
Two and a half hours total.

This is really simple and VERY sweet. The concept which you've created is really nice and you've put an original touch to it. The lean to her pose adds a sense of wonder to the character...but also an eeriness to it as well. I like it. You're immediately drawn to her eyes, and THEN you notice the floating hands. The dress looks something like an outfit from a fairytale, which is pretty neat since it's really simple.

The girl DOES get lost in the white background however...she'd do well with a whole scene behind her to make her pop. The shading on her dress at certain parts you can see where the brush just stopped. A quick flick of the wrist with an eraser can make it look more natural.

I really like this style from you, with completely filled lines of one size. I truly think you've got something really cool here!
